Healthcare Technology and News: Uber Operations Seals Strategic Deal with OpenSpan

Florida’s IT services provider Uber Operations has partnered with management software vendor OpenSpan Inc in a bid to broaden its offerings to healthcare sector.

The deal will see Uber Operations serve as a certified systems integrator offering healthcare organizations with development and implementation expertise on OpenSpan's products and technology.

The OpenSpan technology complements the comprehensive business process management strategy giving enterprises the ability to monitor precisely what users are doing. This process can be used for any operation, making business process management much easier to coordinate.

Uber Operations and OpenSpan got together for the first time in 2008 and have since been successfully working with joint customers.

OpenSpan’s technology is also used to analyze inefficiency and automate manual processes to save both time and money.

"Our team members love the OpenSpan products and technology," said Eduardo Gonzalez Loumiet, managing director of Uber Operations.

"A key strategy of OpenSpan's is building out our certified implementation partnership program," commented Fritz Yoder, vice president of Services and Support for OpenSpan. "Uber Operations team has demonstrated tremendous commitment to customers in helping them achieve their operational and business goals."

Uber Operations, whose main job is providing IT services to health care sector, also offers integration services for several large private and public organizations including the Florida Department of Health, Texas Department of State Health Services, Mercy Hospital of Miami, Mayo Medical Labs, Association of Public Health Laboratories, and the University of Washington.

OpenSpan’s technology gives the ability to integrate Windows, cloud/SaaS and custom legacy applications, which enables organizations to improve user efficiency besides increasing value for existing applications.

OpenSpan has recently sealed a deal with mobile technology group 1st Touch to enable British authorities to deploy mobile technology to field-based staff.
