Healthcare Technology and News: 6Connex Partners with Airway Management Education Center

To host Airway World, a unique online medical education environment designed to put the tools and resources of airway management at the user’s fingertips, Airway Management Education Center, a medical education company and recognized leader in airway management training for physicians, advanced practice nurses, physician assistants, and advanced emergency medical services professionals, is leveraging the 6Connex Virtual Experience Platform.

With a purpose to close important gaps in airway management and resuscitation education by bringing together resources and information globally from an extensive range of sources to create a first-of-its-kind knowledge and collaboration center, the Airway World has been designed.

The dual goals of easy access and easy use that is has makes it uniquely suited to meet the needs of the busy medical professional. Visitors, in Airway World, will find multiple learning opportunities and interactive experiences within the virtual environment such as a presentation from Dr. Michael Murphy performing a flexible fiberoptic tour of his own airway.

“We want to reach more airway management professionals than those who can attend The Difficult Airway Courses and we want to provide a means for our attendees to stay in touch with us as well as create stronger peer to peer relationships with one another,” Dr. Michael Murphy, said. “Being able to extend globally via the 6Connex Virtual Experience Platform allows us to enhance the experience of those practitioners who have taken the airway management courses by offering virtual education opportunities that allow them to stay current in this dynamic field.”

“We are pleased to partner with Airway Management Education Center in delivering this distinctive virtual technology solution that extends their reach to more airway management professionals,” Brian Lane, vice president of healthcare and life sciences at 6Connex, said. “Offering a virtual knowledge and collaboration center, leveraging our Virtual Experience Platform, provides organizations such as AMEC the opportunities to cost effectively extend their educational reach worldwide.”

In related news, 6Connex has announced that it has established five key strategic partnerships with healthcare and life science companies.
