FASTRACK HEALTHCARE SYSTEMS has reportedly released the first integrated DME Billing, Infusion Pharmacy Billing and Home HealthCare Agency Billing Software System. Fastrack Healthcare Systems developed the first HME, Home Infusion and HomeCare Agency system to meet the need for a complete solution to manage every aspect of the business.
The integrated solution is designed to reduce operating costs, improve customer satisfaction and enhance productivity.
The FASTRACK Integrated IV, HME and Home Care Agency Solution is a Windows and ASP.NET developed product with a single common Microsoft SQL database. This database helps the connection of remote sites through the Internet utilizing Citrix Metaframe or Microsoft Terminal Services. The Fastrack Enterprise System for Windows/SQL is an open database that allows clients to write their own reports or export data to third party products. The solution offers providers one fully integrated system that meets all of their needs.
According to Spencer Kay, president of FASTRACK, a large number of operations providing home medical equipment, durable medical equipment, home care agency and infusion services and products are forced to use three or more systems. Since many of the patients are the same, dual entry of data happens in the systems.
In addition, the systems can’t produce one statement for HME, Home Care and IV. Instead, three separate sets of financial and operating reports get generated along with the need to deal with three or more different software support teams. The Integrated FASTRACK System eliminates those difficulties and makes the company more efficient by allowing for cross training of employees between all three product/service lines.
The FASTRACK Integrated DME, IV billing software offers a centralized patient intake screen. This makes capturing a new patient and transferring the information to the appropriate HME, home care agency or infusion therapy personnel or branch quite easy. The features necessary to manage the operational, financial, and clinical aspects of each segment of the providers business is provided by the software.
Standard features of the FASTRACK Integrated DME, IV billing software include patient orders, scheduling, inventory control with serial, asset and lot number tracking, equipment maintenance, bar coding, A/R cash receipts, CMN/RX entry and tracking, care plans, nurses notes, compounding records, drug interaction and allergy checks. Optional features such as the crystal report writer, a business intelligence tool, integration to third party payroll and general ledger systems, bar coding, cellular PDA to automate deliveries, EDI On-Line purchasing, Web Portal and Internet StoreFront are also included.
