Gateway Healthcare has selected
Cox Business VoiceManager to solve its complex voice needs. VoiceManager is a feature-rich telephony platform that integrates the desktop phone, PC and wireless devices to offer better communications control, flexibility and functionality to achieve operational efficiency.
Cox Communications is a multi-service broadband communications and entertainment company for residential and commercial customers. Gateway healthcare is a non-profit behavioral health care organization.
The move to install Cox VoiceManager in Gateway Healthcare’s facility will allow the organization to concentrate on its primary mission of assisting people in their recovery from mental health, substance abuse and behavioral and emotional disorders, the group said.
Cox Business VoiceManager is compatible with most existing phone systems, leading to savings on capital and operating expense of purchasing and maintaining new equipment. The solution helped Gateway receive additional capabilities and reduced its operational costs by 15 percent.
"The savings we've experienced with Cox are a welcome benefit, especially for a nonprofit in the current economic climate," stated Scott DiChristofero, chief financial officer of Gateway Healthcare, in a statement.
According to Cox Business, VoiceManager’s platform is highly scalable. It offers productivity, mobility, business continuity and unified messaging solutions to small businesses and large enterprises.
Gateway can have enhanced workability during patient emergencies, winter storms, or other natural disasters, with the help of Cox’s new solution. Gateway employees also can conveniently make internal calls using four-digit dialing. The company can easily track phone usage data, such as long-distance calling from its facilities.
According to Mark Scott, vice president of Cox Business New England, call routing to preferred devices, business continuity planning that can be altered in the fly and unified voice and data messaging are the tools that allow businesses to operate more efficiently. Traditional phone solutions are a thing of the past; advanced IP feature platforms such as Cox Business VoiceManager are becoming table stakes for business-class communications.
Recently Cox Business
outfitted the 22nd Air Refueling Wing at McConnell Air Force Base with advanced voice circuits to support ongoing communications requirements at the military installation and
announced its collaboration with the SIP Forum.
