TriZetto, Connecture Form Healthcare Partnership to Increase Efficiency in End-to-End Sales Automation Systems

The TriZetto Group and Connecture have announced that they’re entering into an agreement to give organizations for healthcare payments an enhanced system of integration that will automate and speed up sales, administration, and renewal of any small insurance policies. TriZetto and Connecture plan to come up with a demonstration of their integrated platform in the first half of this year.

Jeff Hensley, SVP of Product Management at TriZetto, said, “The growing trend towards consumerism is prompting healthcare payer organizations to fundamentally rethink their strategies and tactics. Health plans will focus on the service experience, leverage consumer analytics as they refine product strategy, and engage customers and employer groups in managing the cost and quality of care. TriZetto and Connecture’s combined solution will give a competitive advantage to payers seeking to win individual and small-group customers through the multiple retail channels where they will be sold.”

He continued, “The administrative efficiency and automation of this offering are the latest example of how TriZetto helps healthcare organizations respond to challenges by offering new solutions in an evolving marketplace.”

He added that the Affordable Care Act (ACA) has forced carriers to do some penny pinching while satisfying the customer. Hensley said that companies can start doing this through technology. Indeed, adapting newer technologies can help automate systems and make a company more economically prosperous. Would it do so in this case? It seems so, since Hensley also added that the partnership will enable payers to do practically everything pertaining to their insurance policies with complete automation.

“The partnership will bring a feature-rich ‘quote-to-card’ solution to health plans, offering seamless online enrollment and user experience options for both the individual and group insurance markets,” said David Sockel, CRO at Connecture.

In related news, The TriZetto Group recently signed a definitive agreement to acquire to Kocsis Consulting Group, a Michigan-based firm that provides software training, compliance and change management tools and solutions for healthcare payer organizations.
