Fusion Extends, Expands Contract with Non-Profit Organization

There are a lot of ways for businesses to grow. For cloud services provider Fusion, the past few years have been largely about growth via acquisition. However, that’s not the only strategy the company employs as Fusion recently managed to extend an existing agreement for five years, nearly doubling the contract value.

The agreement is with an unnamed ‘major non-profit organization’ that provides medical and residential services to children and adults with developmental disabilities. The organization has not only signed on with Fusion for five more years, but it has expanded the number of locations served to eleven and added cloud connectivity to its existing cloud communications solutions, which were also expanded. It’s these added services and locations that have brought the contract value to $1.2 million.

The institution cited Fusion’s consultative approach to solving customer problems as a major reason for the contract extension, along with the company’s efficient service delivery organization and single source integrated cloud solutions portfolio.

The agreement was originally initiated when the institution entered a period of rapid expansion. The institution’s technology team selected Fusion’s trusted and experienced sales and technical support professionals to help navigate this growth.

Since that time, Fusion’s team proved to be attentive and knowledgeable about the complex needs of an organization that delivers healthcare services. In addition, Fusion was able to offer the kind of competitive pricing that a non-profit organization requires to keep its budgetary focus on delivering care. Finally, Fusion’s robust and fully diverse nationwide network differentiated the company from the competition as it could connect all 11 of the institution’s locations while converging its voice and data requirements in a single-source cloud solution.

“We are privileged to have earned this revered institution’s confidence and trust, and we appreciate the opportunity to continue to grow with them,” said Russell P. Markman, president of Business Services at Fusion. “We seek to create increasing value for our customers by introducing the full complement of our integrated cloud services, and we are especially gratified that our upsale efforts have resulted in greater cost savings as well as additional productivity for this organization’s dedicated professionals.”
