Englewood Hospital and Medical Center Chooses Fusion For Cloud Voice, Managed Network

Fusion has announced that the Englewood Hospital and Medical Center (EHMC) has chosen its cloud-based voice and managed network solutions for doctors in Bergen County in New Jersey.

We've upgraded our technology and service delivery platforms and expanded our network and infrastructure to ensure that we meet the industry's rigorous demands for technology and advanced solutions. EHMC is constantly expanding its services and outreach to improve the level of care to the community.”

EHMC had already chosen Fusion to provide disaster planning. The medical center is trying to balance the goals of rapid growth while lowering costs and increasing network efficiency. In addition to voice, EMHC is also looking to optimize its electronic health records (EHR) system and make use of Big Data, transferring detailed radiological images into the system. EHMC wanted a solution that combined both voice and data seamlessly.

EHMC’s previous experience with Fusion convinced the organization to continue working with the company.

Not only do they provide a full suite of cost-saving solutions to address our current communications and network requirements, but they have proven to be a company we believe we can grow with, offering services that will address our needs well into the future,” EHMC acting CIO Mary Kasal said.

Kasal cited the company’s single point of contact for everything ranging from needs assessment to verification as well as 24/7 support.

“EHMC has opened or partnered with numerous physicians' practices to better serve our community,” EHMC infrastructure developer Neville Lee said. “The Fusion Cloud Voice solution has them up and running quickly, connecting them soon after they come on board so they can focus on taking care of patients right away.”
