Vidyo has been working with Royal Philips Electronics, and together, they’ve created an enterprise-grade video solution for patient monitoring. The PhilipsIntelliSpace eCaremanager 3.9 enterprise telehealth platform features Vidyo’s VidyoRouter technology, and is the first Philis Healthcare solution that incorporates enterprise-grade video into patient monitoring applications.
The new remote patient monitoring platform helps monitor ICU patients visually with access to vital patient information, even from remote locations. It combines Philips orb with the VidyoRouter platform, helping providers use whichever devices they so please, while integrating practical and visual data to provide the full picture of the patient’s condition.
The dashboard features several circles that provide important information about the patient, whether they’re in need of immediate care or ready to be discharged. It also helps prioritize information, so they can find the important facts first rather than go through pages of unnecessary info.
As such, healthcare facilities can better manage their patient populations, while keeping all of them visible. It helps expand video telepresence across locations, so patients both in hospitals and at their homes can receive better care.

I’ve mentioned time and again the importance of communication in the healthcare industry, and the benefits that video brings to it. Vidyo and Royal Philips are well-aware of all that it can do, and this new platform makes the best of everything video provides in an easy to use and comprehensive manner.
