Intermedix Corporation Announces the Acquisition of FleetEyes

Intermedix Corporation, a provider of revenue cycle management services and technologies to emergency healthcare service providers, announced the acquisition of FleetEyes, a provider of fleet management systems.

FleetEyes, based in Mineola, NY, will become a part of Intermedix EMSystems, the technology division of Intermedix Corporation.

A provider of cross-jurisdictional situation awareness, FleetEyes offers innovative Web-based solutions for fleet tracking and collaboration between public safety agencies.

After the acquisition, Bill Ryan and Rajiv Sankranti, co-founders of FleetEyes, will have executive leadership roles with Intermedix to continue to support the FleetEyes business. Both will innovate new product offerings, and lead business development focused on private ambulance providers.

FleetEyes’ clients include commercial ambulance companies, hospital-based EMS, municipal EMS, air medical, fire services, health departments, and hospitals. FleetEyes’ solutions include real-time fleet management, multi-agency data fusion, applications on all major mobile phone and tablet platforms, and dispatch connected personal navigation devices.

“FleetEyes’ solutions continue to build on our company’s commitment to equipping the emergency healthcare system with solutions that drive greater efficiencies which result in better clinical outcomes and optimal reimbursement,” said Doug Shamon, CEO of Intermedix Corporation, in a statement.

“We are fortunate to add the talents and experience of Bill Ryan and Rajiv Sankranti to further strengthen our leadership team. Adding the capabilities of an industry innovator like FleetEyes enhances the depth of our interoperability technology offerings to our clients,” Shamon added.

Intermedix offers revenue cycle management services for emergency physicians and hospital emergency departments, emergency medical services agencies, urgent care centers, and fire departments. The company provides hosted technology solutions for state and local public health agencies, hospitals, emergency medical services agencies, and fire departments.

Recently, Thomas H. Lee Partners acquired Intermedix Corporation from Parthenon Capital Partners and its minority shareholders, including Glenview Capital Management.
