Healthcare Technology and News: Princeton HealthCare System Signs Contract with OSI Systems


A $2.3 million contract from Princeton HealthCare System has been received by Spacelabs Healthcare, according to OSI Systems, Inc. Spacelabs Healthcare is the healthcare division of OSI Systems.

Ultraview SL patient monitors, Ultraview Telemetry, DM3 patient monitors and ICS G2 software applications will be provided by Spacelabs under the terms of this agreement. These applications will be provided for hospital-wide implementation.

Efficiency, functionality and the flow of clinical information are provided by ICS G2 software applications from Spacelabs, thus lowering costs, reducing length of stays and improving outcomes.

In a release, Deepak Chopra, CEO of OSI Systems, said, "We are proud that this highly respected teaching hospital relies on Spacelabs patient monitoring and connectivity solutions to assist them in delivering the best patient care."

Rapiscan Systems, Spacelabs Healthcare and OSI Optoelectronics are the subsidiaries of OSI Systems. Specialized electronic products for critical applications in the Security and Healthcare industries are provided by the vertically-integrated OSI Systems. Apart from designing, the company also manufactures specialized electronic systems and components for critical applications in the defense and aerospace industries.

The company has more than 30 years of experience in electronics engineering and manufacturing. The company has offices and production facilities in over a dozen countries. Expansion into selective end product markets has been the strategy of OSI Systems.
