Healthcare Technology and News: Moncrief Army Community Hospital Grants New Contract to Microlog

Microlog Corporation, a dealer in Integrated Voice Response (IVR) and Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) solutions, claimed that it has received a new contract from Moncrief Army Community Hospital, the main medical center at Ft. Jackson in Columbia for its Wellness Management suite software application. The application will be used to increase system capacity of the already installed ServiceFirst Contact Center.

CEO of Microlog, Richard Meccarielli, said in a press release that they look forward to providing Moncrief Army Community Hospital with upgrades to their existing products while also installing one of their newest Microlog products. Their Wellness Management Suite promotes health and wellness at medical facilities and also enables staff to more efficiently keep up with Healthcare Effectiveness and Information Set (HEDIS) information, which has been a troubling issue for many health centers.

The Wellness Management Suite automatically sorts HEDIS data and develops a call list for each health campaign to notify patients of wellness appointments needed. The Wellness Management Suite (WMS) application is then prompted to call patients, their identity is verified, and the patient records responses whether or not they would like to set appointments. Data of those requesting appointments are then sent to hospital staff so that they can more efficiently keep track of each patient's HEDIS record.

In addition to the Wellness Management Suite, Microlog upgraded the system hardware for their ServiceFirst Contact Center to increase system capacity and allow for greater call flow and less downtime for outside callers.

Microlog’s ServiceFirst family of products provides a state-of-the art, all-in-one contact management center. ServiceFirst provides single-point administration and maintenance in an environment that gives single views of customer activity over all media types and customer touchpoints.

ServiceFirst products are used to build solutions for managing contact centers with 20 to 1,000 agents. The ServiceFirst portfolio of products includes ServiceFirst Foundation, ServiceFirst Connections, and ServiceFirst Integrations.

ServiceFirst products that operate as premise-based or hosted service is implemented on Windows 2000, is designed for portability to UNIX or other operating systems and integrates with all modern PBX, ACD and IVR systems through ServiceFirst Integration.
