Ventana Medical Systems Chooses Varicent Software

Ventana Medical Systems, Inc., a premier developer and manufacturer of tissue based cancer diagnostic instrument and reagent systems, has recently selected Varicent Software Incorporated, a global leader in incentive compensation and sales performance management solutions.

Officials said that Ventana, to automate their sales commission process needed a tool that provided flexibility and ease of use. It also required the performance management tool to integrate with their customer relationship management software.

It was only after an extensive evaluation that Ventana selected Varicent as their solution, to meet the needs of both the sales and business operations teams alike.

“Varicent and its ability to integrate with our CRM tool has streamlined the office-to-field communication,” said Gina Kimball, Senior Director Business Operations Ventana, in a release. “Varicent also enables a more efficient delivery of management reporting when compared to our previous device.”

All businesses need change and Varicent understands that a company's sales performance management software should adapt with them.

Mark Girvan, vice president of Americas Field Operations at Varicent, said, “We are pleased that Ventana has already demonstrated success with Varicent. Varicent offers a solution that helps organizations decrease manual administration of sales processes, easily aligns revenue targets to sales resources and helps drive the right sales behavior.”

Additionally, by offering a single application, Varicent manages all the complexities associated with today's fast moving sales compensation programs, data and processes.

In related news, AAA Northern California, Nevada and Utah (AAA NCNU), a membership organization with trusted emergency road service that provides insurance, automotive and travel services to their members, has chosen Varicent to manage its incentive compensation and sales performance processes.

After undergoing organizational changes, AAA NCNU reevaluated their existing SPM system and sought improved customer support and a solution that would be more affordable, flexible and efficient.
