At the 2010 Annual Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Conference & Exhibition,
Stonebranch, a provider of Intelligent File Transfer and Independent Scheduling Agents solutions, will be exhibiting it’s Managed file Transfer solutions, which are aimed at improving healthcare delivery.
According to a release, Stonebranch will demonstrate its
Infitran and
Scribbos solutions that enable HCOs to secure and automate healthcare information including: electronic health records, electronic medical records, personal health information and large files like medical imaging. Additionally, the company claims that these tools provide secure communications between healthcare providers, patients, payors, business associates and other covered entities, and also comply with the HITECH Act and HIPAA standards.
Launched in 2009, Scribbos is a subsidiary of Stonebranch and offers a secure business communications solution, which complements Stonebranch's Infitran, its Intelligent File Transfer Solution, and Indesca, its Independent Scheduling Agents solution.

The annual HIMSS conference in the U.S. ranks as one of the largest healthcare IT and management systems gatherings in the world. Some 29,000 healthcare industry professionals and 900 exhibitors are expected to attend and discuss cutting-edge technology and innovative healthcare solutions designed to improve patient care. Attendees who participate in this year's conference can select from more than 300 education sessions and networking events, in addition to visiting the exhibits, new product pavilions and other innovations on the exhibit floor.
The conference education sessions, as stated, includes pre-conference symposia on topics, such as clinical engineering, financial systems, health information exchanges (HIEs), nursing informatics, payers, pharmacy IT, physicians' IT, and supply chain management.
