iHealth Digital Scale and App Helps Users Keep in Shape

iHealth Lab Inc., a pioneering designer and manufacturer of mobile personal healthcare products, adopted a whole new approach to personal healthcare with special focus on physical fitness. It introduced its new iHealth Bluetooth Digital Scale with the accompanying app helps to simplify and organize personal healthcare routines.

"We are excited to now be able to offer our Bluetooth scale to the public," said Adam Lin, GM of iHealth Lab, in a press release. He added, "The iHealth Digital Scale helps you manage your short and long-term health and fitness goals, while letting the app do the hard work for you with automatic data entry."

Now health conscious users and fitness freaks can constantly monitor their progress by using the iHealth Digital Scale to measure, track and manage personal weight loss or gain using their iPod touch, iPhone or iPad via the Bluetooth- connected scale and app.

By establishing a personal profile that includes all the basic parameters, the app tracks the daily activities, diet and exercise and the weight gained or lost during that period. This helps users to know how and when to exercise and what activity gives the maximum results.

As an unlimited number of users can use the iHealth Digital Scale to create accounts, the entire household can track their fitness progress and decide on the regimen that they need to adopt to be in shape.

Colorful and easy-to-read charts and graphs help users view progress, and a milestone feature for calories spent and consumed during various activities helps users to control weight better. The history feature allows comparisons between present and previous readings and helps to identify how well or how badly you are doing. The results of training can be shared with doctors and friends either through e-mail or through the social networking sites.

The scale is now available for purchase on iHealth website, in Target and Best Buy as well as select national retailers for $69.95 and the companion app can be downloaded for free from the Apple App store.

In related news, iHealth launched the iHealth Blood Pressure Monitoring System for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad that lets users self-monitor their blood pressure from the convenience of their home.
