OnShift Launches OnShift Scrilla iPad App

OnShift, a premier provider of staff scheduling and shift management software for healthcare, just released an iPad App called the OnShift Scrilla.

The newly app determines potential labor cost savings for long-term care and senior living providers. It helps providers to share brief information about their organization, including number of facilities, overtime rate and adherence to their labor budget.

Scrilla, with just one tap, crunches the numbers and displays potential savings that can be achieved with better staffing and labor management practices.

“We wanted to give providers a simple way to understand how much impact even modest improvements to staffing can make to the success of their businesses, and Scrilla does just that,” stated Mark Woodka, CEO, OnShift, in a release.

“OnShift works with hundreds of providers across the spectrum of senior care. Our customers are making dramatic improvements to their staffing strategies and significantly reducing their labor costs. Never before have we seen such an intense focus on cutting costs and operating more efficiently. We're pleased we can help providers achieve these goals during such challenging times.”

Controlling labor costs is a key priority, as labor is a provider's largest expense. The new app, Scrilla provides a fast, easy and fun way to get a snapshot of the potential bottom line impact of better staffing strategies.

OnShift staff scheduling software is used by long-term care and senior living providers to control labor costs and improve efficiencies.

Customers, with OnShift, typically reduce overtime to under 2-3 percent of their labor budgets. Even small organization, with this reduction can save millions of dollars each year. They are also able to gain significant savings through more precise management and scheduling of staff, as well as minimizing the use of staffing agency workers.

In related news, Intacct, a leader in cloud financial management and accounting software, recently announced that OnShift implemented Intacct. The move will enable OnShift, which increased customer acquisition by more than 500 percent last year, to automate its critical billing, revenue management and financial reporting functions – saving the company significant time and money. OnShift will also use Intacct's built-in integration with salesforce.com to streamline its quote to cash processes.
