In addition, DriveSavers is stated to have achieved the distinction of being the only certified HIPAA compliant data recovery service provider in the industry that meets all forty-two data security standards.
HIPAA demands healthcare providers and government agencies to adhere to the most stringent data security guidelines. The act was extended to include third party data recovery vendors that handle confidential data to meet these guidelines and DriveSavers claimed that it prepared itself to meet the same rigorous security demands.
