VoicePort Partners with Costco Pharmacies and Other Big-Name Retailers

VoicePort, International has recently launched a new kind of Prescription Services program and earlier this week the company announced it has entered into partnership agreements with a number of different retailers in North America including Costco pharmacies. With these partnerships, The VoicePort PharmaPhonetics Prescription Services Suite will be making it possible for these companies to serve and track customers and patients in a more efficient way using automation.

Among the features that Costco will be able to take advantage of with this partnership is an automated prescription pickup service. This means people who are anxiously awaiting for meds they urgently need will get an automatic notice when they are ready. No longer will people have to rely on a pharmacy staff that might be overworked and don’t have time to make a phone call whenever a prescription is filled.

"When consumers stay adherent to their medications, it translates to improved patient health outcomes. Our suite of adherence solutions position today's pharmacies to function as an integral provider of true collaborative care while achieving optimal workflow efficiency, a true win/win solution” Alphonse J. Sasso, Vice President of Business Development for VoicePort said in a recent statement.

VoicePort’s PharmaPhonetics brings this particular solution in a way that is cost effective for the client and gives those clients the ability to increase their customer service grades. In the retail world that a company like Costco lives in, the silver bullet for success is making sure its customers are as happy as they can be in their day-to-day lives. The bonus, with a solution like this is that the customer satisfaction ratings increasing are going up at the same time as people who really need medication are able to get that medication as soon as they are available. This keeps people not only happier, but healthier and that’s best for everyone involved.
