BridgeHead to Partner with ClearDATA to Add Comprehensive VNA, Medical Archive Services to its Cloud Solution

BridgeHead will be forming a partnership with ClearDATA, the only cloud computing company that is 100 percent exclusive to the healthcare industry. This partnership will create an all-inclusive vendor neutral archive (VNA) and a standard medical archive service to the HealthDATA cloud solution.

Hospitals want to make their facilities as efficient as possible by digitizing their content and making it accessible to all employees and customers through different devices and operating systems. Moving to the cloud is one way of ensuring the data will be accessible from virtually anywhere.

The BridgeHead platform is capable of supporting Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) as well as non-DICOM data. This flexibility gives hospitals the ability to make clinical and administrative data in the cloud available at all times.

The HealthDATA is designed by ClearDATA for the healthcare market, which takes into consideration the sensitive nature of the information by providing an ultra-secure and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliance with a cloud computing platform and hosting services.

When combined with BridgeHead’s Medical Archive, hospitals will be able to manage any type of data used to run a hospital, whether it’s DICOM, a simple e-mail or any type of document in a healthcare enterprise.

The HealthDATA cloud infrastructure provides multitier authentication architecture, HIPAA compliance across the network, full monitoring, low latency between systems and industry-standard technology such as VMware, Cisco, HP, Microsoft and others.

“BridgeHead’s unique Healthcare Data Management (HDM) Solution allows hospitals to efficiently and effectively manage all of their data. This, combined with our expertise in delivering cloud solutions, enables us to collectively offer a comprehensive solution to our customers. In addition, we hope to leverage BridgeHead’s significant presence in the healthcare market to increase cloud adoption by hospitals, clearly a priority for this unique collaboration,” said Darin Brannan, CEO at ClearDATA Networks.

Using cloud infrastructure for healthcare organizations allows them to archive clinical and administrative data specifically designed to meet the requirements of the hospital. Cloud solutions provide a scalable service to meet the needs of small local hospitals, or large research hospitals with multiple facilities, with the ability to store large volumes of patient records and medical image files for an unlimited amount of time on a smaller budget.
