PumpOne, a provider of portable personal training with state-of-the-art fitness technology, released the FitnessBuilder PT tool for physical, occupational and orthopedic therapists, as well as medical professionals, as part of a major update to the FitnessBuilder app for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch.
PumpOne explained that FitnessBuilder PT is a therapy app that features state-of-the-art tools for all Musculoskeletal Service Providers to create and share prehab and rehab protocols with clients and patients. The app was developed by the company’s very own physical therapy, exercise physiology and orthopedic team.
The tool features over 6200 exercise images and videos, and among them 1400 are stated to be physical therapy-specific. Physicians also get the ability to customize their own workflow and edit the pre-made images and prescribe detailed rehab sessions to patients, digitally or via interactive PDFs.
Physicians and medical professionals can also digitally receive patient logs in their app or review their PDF tracking and e-mail the rehab sessions. FitnessBuilder PT enables seamless paperless tracking and all patient data is kept on users’ device and synced to backup servers so that they have access from multiple platforms, including the FitnessBuilder PT Web solution.
Some of the benefits of the solution are: comprehensive reference resource covering multiple injuries and protocols; instant access to all patient data for more efficient rehab sessions; users can promote their rehab business and technology use for patient recovery; 100% of physicians’ patients receive at-home and on-the-go guidance; two-way guidance and feedback loop for progressions an reporting.
The company claimed that FitnessBuilder PT ushers in a new era of prescribing preventative, rehab and life-changing exercise advice to all patients, with thousands of exercises and hundreds of workouts including sessions for Lumbar, Cervical and Thoracic Spine, Shoulder, Hip, Knee, Ankle and Wrist.
The FitnessBuilder App is available for $9.99 from the App Store on iPad, iPhone and iPod touch, or at iTunes Store. The FitnessBuilder PT tool is available for $39.99 (one month) or $299.99 (12 months) through In-App Purchase.
