NetApp Names Datalink Healthcare Partner of the Year

Datalink, a provider of data center infrastructure and services, has been named Healthcare Partner of the Year by NetApp at its recent United States Public Sector (USPS) Partner Summit. The company has been recognized for its strong revenue performance and support of NetApp-based storage and virtual data center infrastructures for healthcare organizations throughout the United States.

Datalink transforms data centers so they become more efficient, manageable and responsive to changing business needs. Datalink helps leverage and protect storage, server and network investments with a focus on long-term value, offering a full lifecycle of services, from consulting and design to implementation, management and support. Datalink solutions span virtualization and consolidation, data storage and protection, advanced networks, and business continuity. Each delivers measurable performance gains and maximizes the business value of IT.

“We are naming Datalink the Healthcare Partner of the Year to recognize Datalink’s proven leadership in designing agile solutions for both the payer and provider healthcare markets,” said David Nesvisky, senior director, NetApp Healthcare. “This is the first award presented to a channel partner since the inception of our healthcare practice in 2010. Datalink sales, design, and support of comprehensive IT solutions for our joint healthcare constituents have been exemplary.”

“We are pleased to be recognized by NetApp for our strong performance in the healthcare industry,” commented Datalink President and CEO Paul Lidsky. “Healthcare organizations are under intense pressure to drive greater efficiency, gain competitive advantage, and enhance patient care. Datalink has a proven track record of helping healthcare organizations optimize IT to facilitate the achievement of these goals.”

Datalink recently announced a major expansion of its managed services portfolio with the addition of unified monitoring and managed infrastructure services for virtual data centers (VDCs). The new services enable organizations that utilize Datalink to design and deploy next-generation VDC architectures to also outsource 24x7 monitoring, reporting, operating, and troubleshooting of all components to Datalink's dedicated managed services staff.
