Anthelio and Healthland Enter Partnership

Anthelio, the leading independent provider of comprehensive healthcare information technology services and business process solutions for hospitals and other healthcare providers, recently announced in a press release that it has entered a partnership agreement with Healthland, America's market leader of healthcare information technology solutions for rural community and critical access hospitals.

According to the terms of the agreement, Healthland will leverage Anthelio’s resources to migrate its clients to the new Healthland Centriq, an EHR solution that helps clinicians align with rural hospital workflows and speed user adoption. Both the companies will provide maximum possible support to rural community and critical access hospitals in migrating to Healthland Centriq. The migration will help the communities and hospitals establish infrastructure as well as improve the overall quality of patient care.

"Healthland is committed to helping rural and critical access hospitals meet the unique challenges they face by providing the solutions they need to deliver high quality patient care and the best possible outcomes," said Angela Franks, President and Chief Executive Officer of Healthland, in a statement. "While nearly 25-percent of Americans live in rural areas, only about 12-percent of healthcare spending goes to rural hospitals. Healthland Centriq was developed specifically to help rural hospitals enhance the quality of care they provide the neighbors, family, and friends in their communities. Together, Healthland and Anthelio will continue to deliver on Healthland's mission of transforming community healthcare."

"Community hospitals face numerous financial, operational and clinical challenges that require a unique breed of technology solutions, innovation and processes," said Rick Kneipper, Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer of Anthelio. "Our unique EHR, clinical and operating expertise in the rural and critical access hospital market enable us to provide a high quality, affordable, complete migration solution to Healthland customers. We are delighted to partner with Healthland on this initiative and believe that together we will help rural community and critical access hospitals across the country realize the benefits of Healthland's fully integrated EHR solution."
