Healthcare Technology and News: Agresso's Agilon ONE Donor Picked by Southern Illinois University

Officials of the Southern Illinois University Edwardsville Foundation and the SIUE Alumni Association say they have chosen Agilon’s ONE Donor and Prospect Management, Donor Outreach and Business Financials, which are powered by Agresso.

SIUE will go live in July, integrating Donor Outreach with their legacy Ascend database. The products “can be adapted to meet future requirements as they emerge,” says Shelley Zapp, President of Agresso North America.

The Donor and Prospect Management product has donor demographics, prospect reports and proposal tracking, campaign management, gift processing and endowments program management, among other functions. The Alumni Outreach function includes Events Management, Memberships, Rel@y e-mail communications, and an online portal with stuff like alumni directory, class notes, career and business centers.

SIUE officials say the product will let SIUE alumni and friends update their profiles, make donations, register for events, and renew memberships online through a single Web portal: “The flexibility, integration and options this software offers will serve us well into the future,” says Patrick D. Hundley, CEO, SIUE Foundation and Vice Chancellor for University Relations.

“Southern Illinois University Edwardsville is looking to the future,” says David Best, President and CEO of Agilon, touting the software’s “functionality for fundraisers and its cost-saving process automation.”

Last year TMC reported that Agresso expanded its presence in North America and increased its product offering with its acquisition of Coda, a European-based, UK-headquartered developer of international financial accounting software. Agresso officials at the time said the move gives Agresso “new customers, offices and products that will greatly enhance its global footprint to over 5,500 customers worldwide, specifically increasing its presence in the North American market to 400 customer organizations.”

Coda offices on the East Coast and in the Midwest of the U.S. were intended to allow Agresso North America to improve its service to customers and prospects. The newly combined company is ranked as the sixth largest mid-market ERP vendor globally, with more than 3,500 employees across 19 countries.
