Alton Healthcare, a provider of innovative solutions for physicians to increase quality and profit in the changing healthcare environment, announced that its DocAlton v3.1 software has achieved 2011/2012 COMPLETE EHR ONC-ATCB Certification.
The COMPLETE EHR ONC-ATCB Certification enables Alton Healthcare to position the software capable of supporting providers with Stage 1 meaningful use measures needed to qualify for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
The ICSA Labs, a division of telecom service provider Verizon, has certified DocAlton v3.1 on November 4, 2011 under the labs’ ONC-ATCB Electronic Health Record program. It is compliant with the criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
“Alton Healthcare is proud to assist physician practices in meeting the Meaningful Use objectives and become eligible for the Medicare Electronic Health Record (EHR) Incentive payments,” said Ernie Fletcher, CEO, Alton Healthcare, in a statement.
“With our proven, affordable solution, we can ensure that practicing physicians provide excellent quality care in a patient-centered environment while they improve workflow and profit,” Fletcher added.
The solutions of Alton include an Ambulatory EHR, Revenue Cycle Management, Electronic-Prescribing, Telemedicine, and Practice Management. Alton provides the support necessary to meet the Meaningful Use objectives, and Medicare’s PQRI, and Pay for Performance programs.
ICSA Labs offers vendor-neutral testing and certification testing. Its electronic health record certification and testing program provides verification that the certified EHR technology supports meaningful use, as well as helps health care organizations protect sensitive and private patient information.
Recently, ICSA Labs announced that it is testing products in its Anti-Virus program against virus samples from the WildList, a database of real-world viruses considered harmful to PC users, and the Extended WildList, consisting additional malware such as keyloggers and Trojans.
