Intelligent InSites Launches New Business Intelligence Solution

Intelligent InSites has announced a new business intelligence solution that allows healthcare users to analyze trends, identify process improvement opportunities, and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

The new solution is set to be unveiled at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement’s National Forum on Quality Improvement in Health Care, December 4-7, 2012.

Intelligent InSites provides enterprise RTLS software to help hospitals improve patient satisfaction and operational performance while supporting multiple RFID and RTLS technologies.

The new BI tool enables easy-to-use data mining of vast quantities of contextual data stored in the InSites Business Intelligence database.

This launch will allow hospitals and healthcare systems to achieve powerful and flexible enterprise-wide visibility into their processes. Intelligent InSites claims this tool will also make transformational impacts on organization's performance.

“Without an enterprise-class business intelligence solution, analyzing hospital operations data is highly time-consuming and cumbersome. With InSites Business Intelligence, we are empowering business users with self-sufficient and speed-of-thought access to the powerful insights contained within big datasets,” said Carol Tweten, director of Product Management at Intelligent InSites.

“With the addition of ‘big data’ analytics and enterprise-class business intelligence capabilities to the Intelligent InSites solution, we offer hospitals a powerful platform to leverage the massive amount of real-time data that we are collecting from their real-time systems,” said Marcus Ruark, vice president of Marketing at Intelligent InSites. “As a result, healthcare providers can deploy their resources more intelligently – to improve the care they are providing while decreasing healthcare costs.”

In other news, Butler Health System (BHS) announced today that patients in their Butler Memorial Hospital are benefitting from faster and more personalized care as a result of implementing Real-Time Locating and Sensing (RTLS) technologies.

BHS has partnered with Intelligent InSites to implement the InSites Enterprise Visibility Platform (InSites Platform), the Ekahau real-time location system (RTLS), and the Vocera communication system, as the core of its patient flow and communication solution.
