ShoreTel Assists Healthcare Organizations

ShoreTel is continuing to help improve productivity and patient care for healthcare organizations. It knows the importance of communication in the healthcare market, and as such, is demonstrating communication tools designed for healthcare at the medical conference HIMSS.

It’s no secret that being able to communicate quickly and clearly can make the difference between life and death.

In an increasingly technological world and workspace, it’s best to have the best video and voice solutions, along with centralized management features to ensure that patients get the care and quick responses they need. ShoreTel offers support for open standards, so legacy phone systems and devices can be integrated and used, including nurse call systems and medical record systems.

Healthcare organizations around the world are using ShorTel UC systems, from the Henry County Health Center to Lighthouse International. They’ve found that the systems help improve their patient service and streamline work processes, making business go faster and more smoothly, which helps them better help patients.

"Healthcare organizations require reliable, flexible communications tools that allow them to be quick and nimble with patients," said Kevin Gavin, ShoreTel’s chief marketing officer. "With ShoreTel, healthcare institutions can leverage their existing IT staff to create a seamless, centrally managed communications system that immediately connects the right medical personnel and the right resources at the right time - and doesn't force doctors and nurses to learn a new and complex technology."

ShoreTel recently issued a statement announcing just this, as a reminder that it will be demonstrating its communications tools for the healthcare market at the HIMSS conference. This is the largest medical conference in the country, so many of ShoreTel’s customers will be there, along with many customers to be.

No matter what, the most important thing in healthcare is keeping the patient alive and well. To do so requires coordination, speed and precision, which ShoreTel’s solutions provide.

If there is anyone alive today thanks to the help ShoreTel provided, it has done its job, and will continue to do so.
