Fresh Healthy Vending Cafe Continues Partnership with USA Technologies for Cashless Vending Option

Pennsylvania based company USA Technologies, a wireless networking and cashless transaction company, in continuation of its partnership with Fresh Healthy Vending, distributors of vending machines that offer healthy alternatives to fat-saturated chips and sugar loaded candy bars, recently announced the release of cashless Fresh Healthy Vending Café vending machines.

In a statement, Alex Kennedy, VP of Franchise Development for Fresh Healthy Vending, said, "No one should have to settle for unhealthy food anymore. The fact is that there is a growing need for healthy options in vending machines--they are the fastest growing segment of the healthy food category in North America."

“Our latest franchise opportunity, Fresh Healthy Vending Cafe, was developed as a result of the growing demand for both healthy snacks as well as fresh, organic coffee choices. The franchise incorporates groundbreaking equipment--our Fresh Healthy Vending Cafe machine--that is exclusive to Fresh Healthy Vending and, of course, cashless and telemetry by USA Technologies," he continued.

USA Technologies and Fresh Healthy Vending already have over 2,000 of their staple machines across the U.S. utilizing M2M telemetry solutions, ePort and ePort Connect technologies, for swift, cashless transaction capabilities.

The new Fresh Healthy Vending Café machines act as a mechanical barista, and will produce organic, gourmet coffee in 40 seconds or less at the touch of a button.   The lower half of the machine is chilled, and stores healthy juices, smoothies, iced teas, and bars and chips for the calorie-conscious consumer looking to slim down.

The premium prices of the gourmet items in the machine necessitate a cashless system for those who do not carry bills. The vending machines offer the option to accept bills and coins as well, but the USA Technologies allows for transactions using Visa, MC, AMEX, and Discover.
