Nursefinders Opens Up Its Newest Location in the Heart of New England

In today’s day and age, with the global population soaring over 7 billion, and with that number expected to continue to balloon, there is one shortage we cannot afford: medical staff. Especially in the United States, so one company is taking it upon themselves to create a solution to the problem.

Nursefinders is trying to fix the problem with the opening up its newest office in the heart of New England.

Nursefinders specializes in providing hospitals with quality local, per diem nurses, RN’s, LPN/LVNs, CNAs and applied professionals to counteract the shortage of permanent in-house staff across the country. Nursefinders, acquired by AMN in 2010, provides nurses for different hospitals as well as regular healthcare facilities. They can even supply nurse for home care if need be.

"AMN's investment to expand our Nursefinders locations underscores the strategic importance of our local per diem nursing business, particularly to serve our larger Managed Services Program (MSP) clients," explained AMN's Local Staffing Division President, Becky Kahn.  "These new offices allow us to provide even greater customer service to our existing clients and help us build new relationships with other hospitals and healthcare facilities in the area. We also see these new locations as a community benefit by providing new employment opportunities to local healthcare professionals and AMN team members."

Nursefinders was first launched back in 1974 in Texas as a “pier diem nurse staffing provider” and has continued to grow every since. Since opening up over 30 years ago, Nursefinders has placed over 3.5 million nurses in more than 10 million shifts on top of 32 million home care visits.
