RelayHealth, a healthcare information exchange solutions provider, and Greenway Medical Technologies, Inc., a software services company focusing on delivering complete physicians’ practice automated solutions, are forming a partnerships using technologies from Microsoft.
Both RelayHealth and Greenway are looking to work together to insure connectivity platforms to support care coordination.
RealyHealth pioneered online healthcare communications for delivery and accessibility of healthcare with better and more efficient communication such as access to labs, consultation for non-urgent health matters, bills information, payment options and management of personal health records (PHR).
Greenway created PrimeSUITE, an electronic medical practice management solution integrating clinical, financial and administrative physician practice workflows and operations with labs, physician networks and health systems.
By working together to standardize health centers’ connectivity implementation, Greenway and RelayHealth are bringing key benefits to the consumer. Such benefits include, rapid ambulatory, reduced need for internal technical resources, data for population health management and increase care coordination capabilities with PrimeSUITE, electronic health record software (HER), management and interoperability solution system which reduces errors and simplifies business processes.
Interoperability solutions and acute ambulatory exchange of information is helping the customer. Chuck McDevitt, CIO, Self Regional Healthcare, Greenwood, SC said, “By leveraging RelayHealth’s vendor-neutral health information exchange, Greenway is helping its customers prepare for meaningful use.”

The agreement between RelayHealth and Greenway data exchange has the goal of achieving a better and more interoperable experience for healthcare facilities and providers, and provide a better experience to the customer by removing chances of delays and frustrations.
