Telrad Tech, the technology arm of Teleradiology Solutions, recently announced it has signed a distribution agreement with Cisco to be the managed service provider (MSP) for Cisco's HealthPresence telemedicine platform in India.
Cisco’s HealthPresence platform transforms the delivery of healthcare to enhance care at a distance between patients, clinicians and specialists. It integrates high-definition video, advanced audio, medical devices and collaboration tools to deliver convenient access to efficient, high-quality patient care and clinical collaboration across any distance.
Cisco HealthPresence Version 2.0 brings even greater flexibility in video endpoints, the ability to scale the number of endpoints, and enhanced security. It is available as an on-premise or managed service offering and is easy to deploy and manage. The solution easily meets the increasing need for easy-to-access, convenient, high-quality patient care and increased collaboration across the healthcare continuum.

Cisco HealthPresence platform provides secure, scalable deployment options with high availability to help expanded communities of networked healthcare providers collaborate quickly. Users have a choice of interoperable video endpoints, increasing the flexibility of supporting HealthPresence sessions from any location. The solution also has integrated workflow features such as appointment queuing, presence and an API for access to electronic medical records to improve efficiency.
