Progressive cloud computing company Healthx has launched Healthx-enabled Mobile Application, which caters to payers aiming to connect members with their benefits and healthcare information.
Officials with Healthx said that the Healthx App will function like all other apps found in the app stores. The mobile portal is quick and easy to download to the most popular mobile devices, and is intuitively designed for any users accessing their mobile health data for the first time.
Thanks to this, Healthx clients will now be able to receive their own uniquely branded app available for easy download in the iTunes, Windows, Android, and RIM markets.
According to company officials, smart phone users will gain access to their vital Healthx Healthcare Portal information, including a provider directory, ID card view, medical claims information, eligibility information, FSA balances, and secure messaging.
Company officials said that payer clients will own the app, which will display each organization's specific logos and branding; Healthx will simply manage the technology via its cloud services.
Healthx has assured that healthcare payers can expect the highest level of secure encryption from the technology company, which is both HIPAA-compliant and SAS 70 audited.
Healthx develops and manages the most widely adopted online portals and applications for the healthcare and human resources markets. The company provides SaaS solutions for payers, providers, employers and brokers. The company is a developer of self-service communication and data integration solutions that serve more than 150 payers and 25,000 groups, representing over 12 million individual lives.
Back in September, San Antonio-based Community First Health Plans (CFHP) had launched its new Member and Provider portals for over 130,000 of its members.
CFHP chose Healthx due to their extensive industry experience, flexibility of their product, pricing model, and the ability to easily customize workflow processes.
Both CFHP and Healthx complimented the overall team atmosphere in working together and each credited the success of the overall project to the structural and management skills of both organizations.
