Concur Partners with Healthcare Data Solutions for Factual Prescriber Data Integration

Healthcare Data Solutions (HDS) recently announced a partnership with Concur, a global provider of integrated travel and expense management solutions. This new partnership will allow HDS’ precise and information loaded data be available to Medical Device, Pharmaceutical as well as other Healthcare related companies for use in their expense reports. With this information, they will be able to organize themselves, ensure single-entry reporting and adhere to the Sunshine Act.

In a release, Barry Padgett, EVP, Concur Connect Platform Services said, “Our clients in the Life Sciences industry have their hands full preparing for new federal Sunshine Act regulations, as well as managing state legislation that continues to evolve. Concur’s integration with HDS using the Concur Connect Platform will help improve compliance, increase control and simplify the expense reporting process for HDS customers.”

With the coming together of Concur and Healthcare Data Solutions, the combined ability of one’s cloud- and mobile-based travel and expense management abilities and the latter’s comprehensive relational and multi-dimensional data, enables companies to make, edit and approve expense reports. They can manage all of this while correctly including their spend to the most recent prescriber State Licensure, DEA, NPI and other information, all of which is needed to streamline the process and meet Sunshine Act dictats.

Tim Slevin, CEO of Healthcare Data Solutions said, “After investing considerable resources to elevate our data and data services to achieve remarkable depth and accuracy, we are pleased to partner with a company positioned to deliver the highest impact in the healthcare industry. We knew that Concur was the perfect choice to create the biggest benefit to our current and future customers.”
