Empirix ETaaS Supports HIPAA Environments

Empirix has announced that the company’s Empirix Testing as a Service (ETaaS) on-site solution supports Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) environments.

For testing new contact center and UC solutions in environments that must comply with HIPAA regulations, Empirix’s ETaaS provides organizations with a service. Empirix works with clients to create a plan that best emulates user behaviors and then executes the test on-site. Ensuring a seamless service roll out and proactive, ongoing monitoring that protects the user experience, Empirix details any quality issues, performance failures and interoperability problems to pinpoint where corrections are needed prior to production implementation.

Empirix is a provider of service quality assurance solutions for comprehensive customer experience management and end-to-end communication analysis of mobile broadband and IP-based communications systems.

“Empirix’s deep expertise in delivering testing services tailored to the unique needs of organizations in regulated industries and experience working with healthcare companies makes the company ideally positioned to meet the challenges of testing in HIPAA environments,” said Sean Duclaux, director of product management, Empirix in a company press release. “Healthcare organizations can now confidently outsource their testing needs.”

Tailored to meet any organization's unique needs, the ETaaS offering brings together best-in-breed Empirix technology and professional services. Contact centers across industries—including those in healthcare—can validate the quality of the user experience and overall performance of the network prior to deploying new services and applications with the company’s fully integrated solution, the company stated in a press release.

Recently, the company announced the launch of its Unified Communications (UC) Assurance Platform, a system for testing and monitoring communication networks. Empirix’s UC testing and monitoring solution is designed to help service providers and enterprises validate that their communications applications work properly. These solutions are expected to ensure that consumers and business users have a high-quality experience, the company stated in a press release.
