According to a recent press release, The American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) have signed an agreement with Everbridge, the world's recognized leader in incident notification systems, for the latter’s notification systems.
Leveraging the Everbridge’s notification tool, AHCA/NCAL will work toward improving communications and enhance service quality at every level.
“As our national organization represents and serves all types of long term and post-acute care providers, the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living understands the need to communicate effectively. In this day and age, our members need a reliable method to deliver time-sensitive notifications to specific audiences in a short period of time. For this reason, we have selected Everbridge,” said Governor Mark Parkinson, president and CEO of AHCA/NCAL, in a press release. “I am confident our members will see a dramatic increase in their operations with the use of this technology.”

Recently, University Hospitals, in Cleveland, Ohio, that serves the needs of patients through an integrated network of hospitals, outpatient centers and primary care physicians, has reportedly deployed Everbridge’s Aware solution into its emergency operations plan to facilitate critical communications throughout its nationally recognized healthcare system. Officials at University hospital said that they chose Everbridge’s solution to automate their communications during emergencies and disasters.
