Analytix On Demand Announces New Company "CentraMed" to Offer Healthcare BI and Consulting

Analytix On Demand (AOD), a provider of software-as-a-service (SaaS) business intelligence (BI) solutions for healthcare, announced the acquisition of Integrated Revenue Management (IRM), a healthcare consulting and education company.

With focus on revenue cycle management, the newly formed company will be called CentraMed. It will offer healthcare business intelligence and consulting expertise.

Vik Torpunuri, founder and CEO of AOD, will be the CEO of CentraMed, while Kathleen Craig, co-founder and CEO of IRM, will be executive vice president of solutions for the combined company.

Leveraging CentraMed, hospitals, physicians and payers can achieve a 360-degree view of clinical and financial data across the health enterprise.

“Revenue cycle management has always played a defining and increasingly critical role in the overall financial health and success of hospitals and even more so in the last several years,” said Torpunuri, in a statement. “Furthermore, RCM, along with Meaningful Use of EHRs and other health reforms, are strong indicators that the industry is at a crossroads of a radical transformation.”

The healthcare business intelligence platform enables decision-makers to modify practices and organizational behaviors to optimize financial performance. Organizations will benefit as they can also analyze large-scale clinical and financial data to navigate improvement and payment reforms sweeping the healthcare ecosystem.

“We're very excited about the combined entity, which expands the scale and range of IRM's offerings to clients,” said Jack Duffy, founder and executive vice president of IRM. “Like AOD, IRM had recognized the fundamental changes under way in our industry demanding a new cloud computing approach, architecture and capabilities.”

In other news, Intellimed, Inc. and Analytix On Demand recently announced a strategic partnership that will help healthcare organizations use business intelligence to improve hospital quality of service. Using Analytix On Demand's SaaS business intelligence platform, Intellimed - the top provider of integrated strategic management software and data systems for the healthcare industry - will provide game-changing Healthcare Quality Reporting services to the industry.
