The company has entered into an agreement with Fairview Health Services, a not-for-profit health care system based in Minneapolis, to start offering the Novu Consumer Health Engagement and Rewards Platform to all Fairview patients.
The technology is going to be available through Fairview's enhanced patient portal driving patient health management with innovative approach to promote wellness tools for their patients.
The Novu platform is designed to motivate individuals to make the necessary changes in their lifestyle to improve their health. It integrates health and wellness content and activities that are personalized to engage each patient and reward them accordingly.
The programs covered by Novu include nutrition, strength, cardio, stress, life purpose, smoking cessation and many others. They are part of the more than 200 two-week-long health and wellness programs based on proven research by experts in each field from leading US universities.

This type of program is especially useful for lifestyle conditions such as obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure and others. Using the technology Novu provides, patients will be able to monitor their progress while at the same time learning about health and wellness along with the community of users with the same types of conditions.
