Validian Corp Partners with Prevently for Next Gen Security System

The Internet has opened up new opportunities to provide a range of services to customers. A common aspect of every online service is security, and this is one area in which every company invests significantly. A study by Canalys showed that IT spending on security is estimated to reach $30 billion by 2017. With this kind of spending on security, many companies are vying to get a piece of the pie.

One such company that specializes in providing cyber security technology is Validian Corp. This company offers secure access through any network and makes it safe to transfer and store digital information on any kind of wired, wireless or mobile networks. It also provides secure cloud computing and storage along with distributed computing for a range of devices.

Recently, Validian entered into a partnership with a company called Prevently Inc that offers healthcare and telemedicine services through the Internet and mobile network. Prevently's web portal consists of five components. The first component is an educational portal for which content is sourced from Harvard Business School. The second component is an ecommerce site where health products are sold while the third is a telemedicine portal that makes it possible for consumers to book appointments with wellness experts. The fourth is a personal health record portal where all kinds of information about the users can be stored while the last component is a social networking portal that allows users to connect with their contacts.

With this partnership, Prevently ensures that the data that is stored and accessed is safe. Each of the five portals are protected with Validian's next generation technology which means it is difficult for any miscreant to hack or access information without proper authorization. As for Validian, this is the first opportunity that the company has had to enter into ehealth and mhealth market segments. Therefore, this partnership is a win-win proposition for both the companies.
