MedRed BT Health Cloud to Be Revealed at White House Event

MedRed, an informatics software provider, and BT, a provider of communications services and solutions, have announced that they both have been invited to unveil their new solution, the MedRed BT Health Cloud (MBHC), at an event on November 12 hosted by the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy.

"MedRed is honored that our collaboration with BT has been recognized," Dr. William Kennedy Smith, CEO of MedRed, said in a statement. "Our goal is to take data that resides in disparate systems and make the necessary connections so that it can be transformed into knowledge and action. We believe such transformation benefits a wide variety of stakeholders across the healthcare spectrum."

The MBHC is designed to provide workers in the life sciences and healthcare industries a smoother, enhanced integration of U.S. public data sets.  The data provided will help hasten the development of medical products and lead to a vast improvement of patient well-being.

"The MedRed BT Health Cloud is a natural way for us to use our expertise to contribute to quality healthcare and enhanced well-being here in the U.S.,” said Ryan Lehman of BT Global Services in a statement. “We are grateful that our work has been highlighted by the Obama Administration as a high-impact collaboration."
