CollaborateMD Announces Upcoming 8.5 Version for Complete User Satisfaction

Earlier this week, a provider of easy and affordable cloud Medical Billing Software and Practice Management Software, CollaborateMD (CMD), announced information about its upcoming 8.5 version.

To all existing customers, the new release is free and inside the application, it will contain a Central Business Intelligence(CBI) area. For allowing users to retrieve the data they need, how they need it, and when they need it, the Central Business Intelligence (CBI) area will be the foundation.

A Report Viewer and Report Builder will be included by the CBI in version 8.5. The Report Builder allows users to copy any of the current 100+ report templates and modify them with the ease of drag-and-drop fields, filters, grouping, and charting.

Users will be able to visualize, analyze, and report on their data in minutes with the capability to modify report templates on their own. Additionally by selecting fields, filters, and grouping, the Report Builder allows users to create their own report from scratch. With a few clicks of a button, users can add numerous types of charts to their reports. Without sacrificing the needs of other users, allowing users to create and modify their own reports provides individual customization for each user.

“After researching numerous third party reporting vendors, we came to the conclusion that there was no one solution that met all of our requirements and the needs of our customers,” said Douglas Kegler, CEO of CollaborateMD

He added that they took on the project internally and created its next generation reporting tool that will provide each users with business intelligence to visualize, analyze and report on their data in a business centric fashion.

Extra features include the sharing of report templates with other users within the account, expandable/collapsible report grouping, exporting reports, and hyperlinks to open patients or claims directly from the report.
