Client Outlook Signs Reseller Agreement with ACUO Technologies

Client Outlook and ACUO Technologies, two healthcare technology firms, have teamed up to expand clinicians’ access to the critical medical images.

A press release revealed that Client Outlook, a company known for its clinical image viewer solution called eUnity, has signed a reseller agreement with ACUO Technologies, the provider of software and services for intelligent clinical content management and data migration.

Under the agreement, Client Outlook’s eUnity will offer image viewing capabilities to ACUO Technologies’ market leading vendor nNeutral archive, Universal Clinical Platform (UCP3).

UCP3 is s a service-oriented vendor neutral archive (VNA) solution that provides end-to-end lifecycle management of medical images. The system provides a foundation for accessibility and integration of all data types, DICOM and non-DICOM, into the ever-changing clinical environment through standards-based protocols.

By archiving clinical image data from multiple disparate sources, the ACUO VNA provides the foundation of medical image storage across the healthcare enterprise. ACUO VNA archives data regardless of discipline and independent of the mix of PACS vendors on hand.

eUnity is a viewing solution which enables healthcare professionals to access, manipulate and collaborate in real-time over medical images using nothing more than a commonly configured web-browser. By providing access to images online through any commonly configured web browser while maintaining diagnostic quality, performance and security, eUnity offers an alternative to work stations that are in limited supply. eUnity's interactive toolset enables clinicians to collaborate and consult with colleagues over diagnostic images and clinical reports where healthcare happens.

The reseller agreement allows Client Outlook to combine its viewing solution with ACUO technology’s Universal Clinical Platform. In a press release, Client Outlook claimed that the pairing of eUnity and ACUO's industry leading VNA is aimed at integrating healthcare professionals, not just IT systems. eUnity supports both browser and mobile solutions across multiple computing platforms and devices. As such, it will enable the ACUO clients who are searching ACUO’s clinical repository to view clinical documents across platforms, devices, and locations.

“Client Outlook is extremely pleased to be working alongside Acuo Technologies. Acuo is known in the industry for its commitment to excellence in delivering collaborative image management and archiving solutions and that commitment is reflected in its partnership with Client Outlook. Aligned in our vision, both companies are devoted to liberating the clinical information locked away or confined in traditional hospital IT systems and providing physicians with easy and simple access to patient data - right where healthcare happens,” executive vice president and co-founder of Client Outlook Inc Brenda Rankin noted in a statement.
