Digital Shelf Space Corp's GSP RUSHFIT Launches First Canadian Direct Response TV Campaign

The GSP RUSHFIT innovative ultimate home workout series from Digital Shelf Space Corp. now has the first and latest Direct Response TV campaign in Canada. World Welterweight Champion and the Montreal Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Star, Georges St-Pierre (GSP) is the attraction in the GSP RUSHFIT workout routine series.

In a release, Vice President of Marketing at Northern Response (International) Ltd., Don Cameron, said,“Canadian retail interest in GSP RUSHFIT has been so strong that some retailers moved aggressively to list the home-based fitness training DVD series in advance of the company's national TV advertising campaign. Several National retail accounts, totaling about 525 locations, have received their stock and are supporting it with in-store merchandising initiatives."

Few chosen channels in Canada will get to see the new infomercial on the workout routine, including Fox Sports World, Showcase Action and Sportsnet One. In fact, prior to this, GSP RUSHFIT had already begun its online direct retailing to its customers. The CEO of DSS stated that the company has seen increased and positive response from its customers at their retail outlets ever since the GSP RUSHFIT series released. The national television advertising campaign undertaken by the company is one of the strategies to improve its consumer awareness rates. DSS’s retailers in turn have been getting very positive and enhanced results.

Director of Sales at Northern Response, Earl Morris said that "Northern Response's preliminary commitments from other Canadian retailers should lift the total number of retail locations selling GSP RUSHFIT to over 3,000 locations by Q3, as the much-anticipated Direct Response TV spot rolls out and retailers conduct their traditional August/September fitness section reset.”

The proprietary technology platform from Digital Shelf Space or DSS has always been a customized system that delivers content of home entertainment direct to its customers. DSS has also run its operations independently, with service provided to content owners, aggregators, digital retailers, on the online delivery technology and home entertainment content produce. The comprehensive platform also has the ability to blend together digital download, streaming video download, paid DVD and e-commerce functionality.
