Therap's iOS App Features Medication Administration Recording Tool for Community Based Supports

WATERBURY, Conn., Sept. 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Therap's Medication Administration Recording tool is now available on the Therap iOS mobile application. The MAR mobile app for iPhone and iPads allows nurses, caregivers and med passers with their daily documentation of medication administration and allows for quick entry of records in community settings and other LTSS locations.

With the MAR iOS app, users can record administration of scheduled and PRN medications from their hand-held devices. They are also able to view schedules, along with active diagnoses, allergy records  and contact information of healthcare professionals. Users can also access the First DataBank drug reference tool which includes pictures to identify the drug.

The MAR module on Therap is integrated with industry standard drug database First Databank (FDB). With MAR, users can schedule and add comments to medication and treatment records, and export MAR reports with current medications and treatments on a monthlygrid. Additionally, Therap's Medication History includes detailed information on side effects, drug-allergy reactions and drug-drug interactions. With the medication history tool, nurses have the necessary information to avoid or minimize medication errors. Users also have the option to export MAR reports with current medications and treatments on a monthly grid; reporting capabilities further help to reduce medication errors and catch discrepancies.
