CureMD Takes Over 3,400 Navinet EMR and PM Providers

CureMD – a provider of SMART Cloud EMR, Practice Management, patient portal and medical billing services designed to optimize outcomes, quality and financial returns – has officially taken over 3,400 Navinet EMR and PM providers, and has also accomplished the technical transition in accordance with the law.

NaviNet, one of America's largest real-time healthcare communications networks, previously distributed CureMD EMR and Practice Management, branded as Navinet EMR and Practice Management. Both companies had signed an agreement back in 2010, under which it was assigned that CureMD would manage the development, implementation, training and support for all customers.

“This year has already become the most exciting for the CureMD team, as we have achieved record growth and completed three major acquisitions,” explained an officer from CureMD.

In addition, the CureMD team was also handling 60 implementations a day with over 25 percent of the customers using data migration services. Meanwhile, CureMD’s fast track Meaningful Use program helped hundreds of providers achieve Meaningful Use.

Now, the takeover enables CureMD to extend a multitude of benefits to its customers.

"Since the beginning of our partnership, CureMD has flawlessly implemented thousands of providers across the nation," Ammar Afif, COO at NaviNet, expressed last October.

CureMD is a New York-based, award-winning network of health information management systems and services, offering certified EHR, practice management, patient portal, revenue cycle management and transcription to help accelerate adoption and Meaningful Use qualification, driving outcomes and subsidy payments to maximize value and returns.

CureMD’s advanced Web technology and award-winning usability facilitate quality decision making, streamline operations and ensure compliance.

CureMD was recently awarded the number-one ranking by KLAS as the leading cloud-based EHR for the ambulatory physician office marketplace.
