Patients at Parkview Regional Hospital to Utilize New iTriage Smartphone App for Accessing Critical Medical Information



Parkview Regional Hospital, provider of quality and cost effective healthcare through superior services offering, has announced that its new partnership with iTriage, a free smartphone app and website, will make it possible for consumers to access critical medical information and a list of the closest healthcare providers. As an increasing number of people use their mobile devices to access healthcare information both at home and on the go, the hospital wanted to extend its service offerings to the expanding mobile audience base.

Consumers can download the iTriage smartphone app free via app stores for iPhone or Android mobile devices. The app can be accessed additionally via any Internet-enabled device at http://www.iTriageHealth.com.

iTriage has been delivered to the Parkview Regional Hospital by the Schumacher Group which is the third largest emergency and hospital medicine management firm in the country. Residents and visitors at Limestone County and its nearby communities leverage the iTriage app to access healthcare related information. Users can look up information pertaining to medical symptoms and also look up the closest and most convenient medical facility for addressing their health condition.

The iTriage app allows consumers to look up medial symptoms, find information on the possible causes and available treatment options. The app also enables consumers to find information pertaining to medication for treating a certain condition and to look up information on the services, hours, specialities offered at Parkview Regional Hospital. Consumers can also look up turn-by-turn directions.
