Physicians Interactive, a provider of mobile and web-based clinical resources and solutions for healthcare professionals, has signed an agreement with WorldOne, a company specializing in online healthcare data collection, providing medical professionals and life science companies in the United States an opportunity to share valuable insights with life science companies.
Each member of Physicians Interactive’s network of 875,000 physicians, nurses and allied health professionals will now be able to connect with life sciences companies and provide them valuable tips to improve the quality of patient care. These professionals will also be able to participate in online and mobile market research for the same purpose.
“PI is a blue chip brand in the digital healthcare community and both parties immediately recognized the exceptional business opportunity to create the largest and highest quality market research network in the U.S.,” said Peter Kirk, CEO of WorldOne.
“We made sure to build a fully integrated solution, for both our clients and health professionals. More importantly, when combining PI's network with WorldOne's U.S. healthcare panel, we will reach a very impressive one million healthcare professionals. A significant part of this panel is 300,000+ AMA-verified physicians in the U.S. Market researchers now have access to the largest panel of practicing U.S. physicians ever assembled. This is a big step forward for WorldOne, Physicians Interactive and the market research industry,” said Kirk.
“We are pleased to announce our strategic alliance with WorldOne; a true leader in healthcare data collection. This alliance will empower our healthcare professionals with the chance to have their voices heard, sharing their views on timely, relevant healthcare topics that will impact the quality of patient care,” said Donato Tramuto, CEO and vice chairman of Physicians Interactive. “PI and WorldOne also have an amazing opportunity to give back to our medical professionals, connecting them with valuable research earnings opportunities in recognition for their input and service.”
In other news, Physicians Interactive Holdings, Inc. recently announced that it entered into an agreement with Merck Global Health Innovation Fund (GHIF) to invest up to $17 million in the company.
