Healthcare Technology and News: BabyCenter Unveils My Pregnancy Today Application for iPhone and iPod touch


The launch of the BabyCenter My Pregnancy Today application has been announced by BabyCenter. Expectant moms who own an iPhone and iPod touch can now access this application. BabyCenter provides the most trusted parenting and pregnancy site to moms.

Expectant mothers will be guided through their pregnancy journey by this new, free application. The app will offer advice from obstetricians, midwives, nutritionists and other expert, along with award-winning, medically reviewed health content. Moms can track their daily activities and set reminders with this app.

A poll was recently conducted by BabyCenter. The survey revealed that more expectant mothers want to use technology to track their pregnancy now than ever before. In fact, 60 percent of moms-to-be who were polled were looking for an application to track their pregnancy. Moreover, nearly half of the participants were interested in technology to help them be better moms and manage their daily activities.

The BabyCenter My Pregnancy Today app features detailed fetal development images every week. These images are developed by expert medical illustrators. The app also provides moms-to-be with an interactive to-do list. With this app, expectant moms will also have access to the exclusive and breathtaking 3-D animations of a baby developing in the womb from BabyCenter. The app also features live-action video of women giving birth.

Apart from quickly finding the due-date of the baby, moms can receive advice and support from BabyCenter women who are due at the same time. Moms will also receive tips and recipes which will help them to manage weight gain and eat well.
