Awarepoint Corporation, a provider of Real-time Location Systems (RTLS) and networked awareness solutions for hospitals, has announced that Stephen Zaniboni will be the company’s new Chief Financial Officer and Peter Mojica will be joining their management team as the VP of Product Management.
The new CFO of Awarepoint Stephen Zaniboni has vast experience working as a financial leader in health care and technology. He has been recently serving as the Chief Financial Officer for San Diego-based XIFIN Inc., a provider of revenue cycle management and software-as-a-service for diagnostic laboratories. Zaniboni has supposedly raised more than $500 million through venture financing and IPO proceeds for high growth healthcare and technology companies.
Zaniboni had also served as Chief Financial Officer of AviaraDx, Arcturus Bioscience and Sequenom. Previously he had held various financial management positions at Aspect Medical Systems, Behring Diagnostics, and Boston Scientific and has been practicing CPA with Arthur Andersen and holds a B.S. in accounting from Boston University and an M.B.A. from Boston College.
President and COO of Awarepoint, Brad Weinert has stated that he is excited about the fact that Steve has joined their team and has brought a deep knowledge of financial matters and financial reporting to Awarepoint. They are confident that his vast experience would be a significant contributor to their continued growth.
Peter Mojica has served as the Vice President of Product Management & Strategy at AXS-One, a subsidiary of Unify Corporation, a dealer in industrial-strength archiving solutions for regulatory compliance and legal discovery. Monjico has also advised the AXS-One's major customers and strategic partners in their technological direction, product positioning and application use and has also developed many of the industry's premier solutions that are been recognized by major analysts for enterprise-scale digital archiving for compliance and electronic discovery.
Prior to AXS-One, Mojica has held a variety of key executive positions in the software, consulting, services, and corporate sectors. In addition, Monjico has also served as the Vice President of Research and Development for First Union National Bank Capital Markets, as an Executive of software at Selectica Inc. and CreekPath Systems and as an Executive of IT management for firms such as Nomura Securities, CS First Boston, Goldman Sachs, and British Airways in New York City.
