Wendeng Central Hospital in Weihai City, Shandong Province has
selected Jinan Yinquan Technology Co., Ltd., one of the wholly-owned subsidiaries of
China VoIP & Digital Telecom to provide integrated virtualization solutions to the hospital.
Yinquan was also awarded a post-implementation services support contract, which should provide an ongoing, stable revenue stream.
The officials at the Wendeng hospital said that they selected Yinquan's sophisticated integrated virtualization solution to improve their servers' utilization rates and enhance datacenter security.
The new deployment of virtualization solutions is expected to reduce purchasing and administrative expenses, and also provide the Hospital with higher energy savings, lower overall emissions and a more environmentally-friendly computing solution.
According to Yinquan the virtualization is a proven software technology that can rapidly transform the IT landscape and fundamentally change the way people compute. It can benefit anyone who uses a computer, from IT professionals and Mac enthusiasts to commercial businesses and government organizations.
The powerful x86 computer hardware is designed to run only a single operating system and a single application, the virtualization breaks this boundary, making it possible to run multiple operating systems and multiple applications on the same computer at the same time, increasing the utilization and flexibility of hardware, says the company.
Kunwu Li, president and CEO of China VoIP & Digital Telecom, is very pleased with the new contract. He said, "It's another example of our continued success in the virtualization industry. The contract clearly shows our ability to implement our integrated virtualization solutions for the healthcare industry. We are confident in our continuing success in this industry in the near future."
