Loricca, Inc., a provider of comprehensive and innovative information assurance and Cyber security professional consulting services to corporations and government agencies, has
expanded its business with a new Healthcare Division to its territory.
The company has also selected Mark Beckmeyer as senior vice president and Ron Beltz, director of business development, to deliver healthcare solutions.
Company officials said that they appointed Beckmeyer for bringing in more than 25 years of experience with information assurance and cybersecurity. Beckmeyer also held technical and managerial positions at all organizational levels in both the private and public sectors.
Prior to joining Loricca, Beckmeyer was executive vice president of the Morningtown Group, LLC and national director of the Computer Horizons Corp. Security and Compliance Practice.
Meanwhile, Beltz began his IT career in 1976 as a computer programmer, and progressed to director of IT in 1981. Much of his experience was formulating software solutions for pharmaceutical companies and developing hospital applications. During Ron's career, he has served as engagement manager, regional technical director, sales and recruiting manager and vice president of business development serving all vertical markets, managing delivery teams across the U.S. and also in Chennai, India and Montreal, Canada.
Michael Whitcomb, company president, said officials realized it is imperative for the healthcare industry to establish and maintain strong security and privacy safeguards to protect the sensitive and critical patient and business health information.
Officials at Healthcare Solutions Group said that their main focus is to provide cost-effective and viable solutions to all members of the healthcare continuum in HIPAA/HITECH Act compliance/remediation implementation, information technology and application security, disaster and business recovery solutions, and business management/planning activities.
