Amcom Software, announced its customers represent nearly 90 percent of the “Honor Roll” hospitals in the recent U.S. News & World Report ranking of the best hospitals in the country.
Amcom officials calls 18 of the top 21 of the hospitals clients and note that that every day, these leading healthcare institutions use the company’s solutions to improve the way they communicate, keeping patient care, safety, and satisfaction high.
U.S. News & World Report that published the annual findings in the highly anticipated 2009-2010 America's Best Hospitals report assessed 4,861 hospitals across 16 specialties, considering such factors as reputation, mortality index, patient safety, and general care-related factors such as nurse staffing and technology.
The 21 Honor Roll hospitals represent those in which quality of care is exceptional within many specialty areas.
“Year after year, the majority of hospitals on the U.S. News list rely on Amcom solutions in their daily mission-critical communications,” said Chris Heim, CEO, Amcom Software, in a statement.
Heim said that the company is extremely proud to play a role in the high quality of care these customers provide and commend them on being heralded as the best in the country.
The company officials claimed that Amcom solutions integrate and automate mission-critical communications within hospitals. The company's product suite has expanded dramatically through the acquisitions of SDC Solutions, Commtech Wireless, Xtend Communications, and Telident E911 products.
The company now provides communication solutions to many leading hospitals worldwide.
