eVariant Releases Version 4 of HealthConnect Volume Performance Management Solution


eVariant, a provider of sophisticated and customized data mining, automation, analytics and reporting tools for the health care sector, introduced the latest version of its flagship Volume Performance Management solution, HealthConnect.

In a press release, eVariant claimed that the latest version, HealthConnect v4 is the industry's only comprehensive healthcare marketing SaaS application built entirely in the cloud. According to company CEO, Bill Moschella, HealthConnect v4 performs marketing functions and integrations automatically, across disparate systems through browser over the Internet. Being cloud based, all users of the previous versions of HealthConnect will be automatically upgraded for no additional charge.

According to its maker, HealthConnect v4 features the kind of user interface which is expected in the consumer applications. At the same time, it gives users the power, stability and reliability that are expected in the enterprise class applications. The platform, according to eVariant has been designed to enable health care administrators gain a single view of the entire marketing and business development ecosystem.

Penn Medicine has been using the version 4 of HealthConnect solution for some times. The CMO of Penn Medicine, Suzanne Sawyer expressed great satisfaction over the functionalities of the solution in its version 4.

“We are truly impressed in the broad capabilities of the product and how quickly HealthConnect v4 will speed our go-to-market initiatives. The product is transformational,” Suzanne Sawyer noted in a statement.

HealthConnect v4 helped Penn Medicine launch sophisticated, volume-driving campaigns in weeks and that is without huge investments on specialized training. By leveraging such functionalities as interconnected data, digital marketing and eMail/landing page design tools, the nation’s oldest and one of the largest medical schools has been able to achieve an improved targeting and response rates.

HealthConnect v4 includes a predictive feature that helps the users to get an idea about the expected revenues and help generate profitable patient volume. Leveraging a powerful patient volume analytics and reporting engine, and intuitive and interactive dashboards the solution helps the users to make an idea as to how marketing decisions will drive future revenue. This assists the users in making data-driven decisions about resource allocation.

Other new features of HealthConnect v4 include an automated Web form builder, a built-in patient deduper tool, an automated data cleansing engine, an intricate classes and events module, several new quick start real time integrations with companies such as EPIC, Beryl and SironaHealth and a new email wizard that allows users to quickly send out emails from a variety of templates without HTML knowledge.

The first time users can refer to HealthConnect online support portal, which eVariant recently introduced as a response to the rapid growth of the amount of users of the HealthConnect product. The portal includes over 150 articles and videos, self-paced training videos and a new standardized training package of 101, 201 and 301 classes that can be delivered online via self-paced training, led by an instructor through WebEx meetings or led face-to-face by an eVariant certified instructor.

eVariant expects to have 2,000+ users on the platform by the end of 2011.

Few months back eVariant announced that it had relocated its corporate headquarters to Simsbury, Connecticut.
